Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of glowbowlatelier.com and your purchase of meals and subscriptions from GlowBowl (GLOWBOWL ATELIER INC) (“GlowBowl,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, placing an order or starting a subscription, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our service.

Our service

GlowBowl prepares chilled meals locally and delivers them on Sundays to ZIP codes in our Greater Boston service area. You can check whether we deliver to you by entering your ZIP code on our website. Menus change from week to week, and dishes may sell out or be replaced.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email address, so please keep access to that email account secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and for keeping your name, phone number, delivery address and allergy information accurate.

Orders, prices and discounts

  • Every order must include at least 4 meals.
  • Prices, volume discounts, delivery fees and taxes are shown before you pay or confirm. Delivery is $6 per order and free for orders of 12 or more meals; it is also waived when you ordered for the previous delivery week, as shown at checkout.
  • Massachusetts meals tax (currently 7%) applies to the meal price after discounts. It does not apply to the delivery fee.
  • Your first order is 50% off the meals (not delivery or tax), once per account. Other offers, such as our discount for military, first responders and other community heroes, follow the terms shown with the offer.
  • Discounts don’t stack: when more than one discount could apply, you get the single highest one.
  • If we charge you by mistake, we will refund the incorrect amount to your original payment method.

Subscription and weekly charges

When you start a subscription, you check a box at checkout that describes how your subscription is charged. That disclosure is the specific agreement you make; this section summarizes it.

  • Your first box is charged at checkout, and your payment method is saved securely with Stripe.
  • After that, each week you confirm a selection, your saved card is charged automatically right after the weekly deadline — Thursday at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time — and your box arrives Sunday.
  • You’re charged only for the meals you confirm, and your exact total is shown before you confirm. We never charge more than the amount you confirmed.
  • Only weeks you confirm — or, if weekly repeat is on for your account, the box we plan for you as described below — are charged. You can edit or skip a week until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, and pause, resume or cancel anytime in Account → Subscription. Pausing and canceling take effect immediately for weeks that haven’t reached their cutoff, but a week already past its cutoff is already charged and still ships.
  • If weekly repeat (Auto-Pilot) is turned on for your account and you haven’t picked meals or skipped by Wednesday morning, we’ll repeat your last box and email you what we’re sending and the total — you can change or skip it any time until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Account → Subscription shows what is planned for each upcoming week.
  • We email you a reminder before each weekly charge.
  • When you cancel, all future weekly selections and charges stop. Unused account credits or rewards may no longer be available after you cancel.

Payment problems

If a weekly charge is declined, we may try the charge again, up to 3 attempts for that week, shortly after the weekly deadline. We will email you a secure link to update your card. Some declines — for example, a card reported lost or stolen — pause your subscription right away. If charges fail for 2 weeks in a row, your subscription is paused automatically, and no further charges are made until you update your card.

Updating your card through the secure link resumes a subscription that was paused because of a payment problem. A subscription you paused yourself stays paused until you resume it. If you can’t find the link, email support@glowbowlatelier.com for help.

Delivery

  • We deliver on Sundays to the address on your order. Please make sure your address, phone number and delivery notes are accurate.
  • For an order that has already been charged, you can change the delivery address in Account → Orders until 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the Saturday before delivery. After that, reply to your order confirmation email and we’ll do our best; once your order is out for delivery, the address can’t be changed.
  • Our driver may take a photo at drop-off as proof of delivery.
  • Meals arrive chilled. Please refrigerate them as soon as possible and eat them by the use-by date on the label.

Cancellations, refunds and issues

Orders that have been confirmed and charged after the weekly deadline can’t be canceled or refunded. If your order arrives damaged, missing an item, or with compromised insulation, take a photo of the affected items and contact us right away through the chat on our website or at support@glowbowlatelier.com. We will look into it and may issue an account credit, a replacement or a refund.

Captain Program

Every GlowBowl account can join the GlowBowl Captains referral program (“Captain Program”). It is free, and you don’t need to buy anything to take part. You get a personal referral link on your account page.

  • Who counts as your referral. A new customer who places their first order after opening your link is linked to you. The link is set at that first order and can’t be changed later; existing customers can’t be added afterward. New customers get 50% off their first order, as described above. The person who referred you sees your first name and last initial and the month you joined, but not your contact details or order details (see our Privacy Policy).
  • What you earn. You earn points equal to 10% of what the customers you referred pay for meals, and 3% of what the customers they referred pay for meals. “What they pay for meals” means the meal price after discounts and points, not including tax or delivery fees. You earn points on each referred customer’s orders for 12 months from that customer’s first order.
  • Orders that don’t count. Your own orders, orders from your household (for example, the same email address or the same delivery address), and orders from GlowBowl staff or internal accounts don’t earn points.
  • When points are added. Points are added once 7 days have passed after the referred order is delivered. We add points once a week, so this can take a few extra days. Until then they show as pending.
  • Using points (opens in mid-November 2026). 1 point = $0.01. Available points are applied to your own meal orders and weekly charges automatically (at least $0.50 of each order is still charged to your card); you can turn this off on your account page to save them.
  • Gift cards (opens in mid-November 2026). Once you have at least $200 in available points, you can ask to redeem them for an electronic gift card in multiples of $50. Gift cards are sent to the email address on your account after we review the request, and can’t be canceled or returned once sent. Any remaining points stay in your account. We may ask for tax information (such as a Form W-9) before sending gift cards and may report them as required by law.
  • No cash value. Points can’t be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred to another person.
  • Refunds. If a referred order is refunded, we remove the points it earned. This can make your balance negative; future points will make up the difference first.
  • Sharing your link. Whenever you share your link, you must clearly say that you earn rewards when people order through it — for example, “I earn rewards if you order through my link.” Describe GlowBowl accurately, and don’t make claims about our meals that we don’t make ourselves.
  • Changes. We may change, pause or end the Captain Program at any time by updating this section. We may cancel points earned through misuse of the program or in violation of these terms.

Allergens, food safety and wellness information

GlowBowl lists ingredients and relevant allergens. However, GlowBowl does not guarantee an allergen-free cooking environment or the absence of cross-contact. Our kitchen handles common food allergens, so we can’t rule out cross-contact. We advise customers with severe food allergies to be cautious about ordering at this time.

We don’t customize recipes for individual orders. It’s your responsibility to read the ingredients and allergens for each meal and to keep your allergy settings up to date.

Meal recommendations, nutrition information and other wellness content on our website are general wellness information, not medical advice. Please talk to your doctor before making changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.
